Leaving Tomorrow!

It is 11:00 on Tuesday night, and we leave in seven hours!  The good news is that I'm almost packed.  It seems that I have waited till the last minute, but actually we have been very busy this summer getting ready for Sutton. 

Layne decided that she wanted to share her room with her brother, so with her help, we changed her room from pink to blue.

We also decided that for a while he might need to sleep with mommy and daddy, so Layne helped get his crib ready.

Layne has also helped name her new baby brother.  She has chosen the name Leroy, and it doesn't really matter to her that Bobby and I have chosen the name Sutton.   I guess we might just have to see which name he prefers.

If I want to be ready by 6:00, I better go.  The next time I write, we will be in Beijing. 

Our Family

I am Heather Eledge, and I have been married to Bobby for 12 years.  Three years ago we adopted our beautiful daughter, Layne, from Guangxi, China.  I kept a blog while we travelled to China to adopt her.  I loved reading the comments that our friends and family left for us while we were gone.   We are now preparing to travel to China once again to complete our family with the adoption of our son, Sutton, from the province of Fujian.  We hope our friends and family will once again follow us on our journey.
